While obtaining knowledge is the driving force behind
Non-Sacred Scientism, what they clearly know and reflect upon
when contemplating“human nature” is that myriad civilizations
and species have come and gone. Nature is a battleground
testing the survival of the fittest.
Human nature
has always been in a State of War. Violence is
a "natural" human
characteristic. Their own work is a relentless battle against ignorance.
To
be called a Warrior's Quester is a compliment.
The discipline they follow is that of the Warrior's
Quest, namely, to exercise dominion over
all things, living and inert, on the Earth. "Dominion" is
not a revealed truth, rather, it is an evolutionary imperative—win
or perish!
What Earthfolk fear as the militarization
of the scientific community, Non-Sacreds welcome as
an effective and progressive alliance. "Just
look at the results!" meaning the atomic bomb, nuclear
energy, etc.
